Madonna will put on the biggest show of her career in Latin America. Today (Mar. 25), the queen of pop announced that she will offer a free concert in Brazil.

Madonna kicked off her career 40 years ago with the release of her self-titled debut album on Jul. 27, 1983. She is currently celebrating her upcoming anniversary with a hits-filled tour. Madonna launched the Celebration Tour last October with shows throughout the U.K. and Europe. The tour touched down in the U.S. this year. The last date in the states will take place on Apr. 15 in Austin, TX.

In April, Madonna will embark on the Latin American leg of her tour. It originally consisted of five dates back-to-back at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City. Now she will add one more Latin American stop to wrap up the tour. Madonna will visit the Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on May 4. As a gift to her fans, the concert will be free of charge to the public. Tickets will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis on the day of the event. The concert will also be broadcast live on TV Globo.

Madonna’s fans, especially the ones in Brazil, are excited about her free concert in Rio de Janeiro. On X (formerly known as Twitter), one person wrote, “MADONNA IN BRASIL IS REAL?!?!? WE USED TO PRAY FOR TIMES LIKE THIS.” Another fan wrote in Portuguese, “Madonna’s free show on Copacabana beach in Brazil is confirmed!!! Anyone else here planning to travel?”

There’s some speculation that Brazilian superstar Anitta could join Madonna at the concert. The Rio de Janeiro native previously collaborated with Madonna on the song “Faz Gostoso” for her 2019 album Madame X
