Two legendary Mexican acts are joining forces on one song. Today (Oct. 7), Maná revealed that they have a collaboration on the way with Marco Antonio Solís.

This past year, Maná has performed concerts throughout Latin America and Europe on their México Lindo y Querido Tour. For the first time, the iconic group performed a sold-out concert at the OVO Wembley Arena in London. Last month, the band made headlines after one of their former collaborators, Nicky Jam, endorsed Donald Trump’s presidential campaign. In a post on Instagram, they wrote that “Maná does not work with racists.” Fher Olvera and his bandmates also revealed that their song “De Pies a Cabeza” with the reggaetonero was removed from all music streaming services. Now, they have a collaboration on the way with none other than El Buki.

Maná’s connection with Solís goes back to 2008. On the live album Arde El Cielo, the group recorded a cover of the classic “Si No Te Hubieras Ido,” written by Solís. Surprisingly, Maná and Solís never crossed paths in the recording studio since then. That’s about to change with Maná’s next single, which will be a new version of the song “Ojalá Pudiera Borrarte” featuring Solís. Maná first released the song in 2006 on the album Amar Es Combatir. To get fans excited for the collaboration that will come out on Thursday, Oct. 10, Maná created the hashtag “#OjaláManáConElBuki.”

The new version of “Ojalá Pudiera Borrarte” featuring Solís will be released on a new Maná album due next year. The LP will also include collaborations with Alejandro Fernández, Christian Nodal, Edén Muñoz, Pablo Alborán, and Sebastián Yatra.

On Oct. 11, the vinyl collection Boxset Vol II will be released with the band’s albums Dónde Jugarán los Niños, Cuando Los Ángeles Lloran, Sueños Líquidos, Amar Es Combatir, and Cama Incendiada
