Molotov Announces 30th Anniversary Tour Dates in the U.S.

Mexican rock excellence is coming to the U.S. On Mar. 17, Molotov revealed the U.S. leg of their “TXXXR 30 ANIVERSARIO.” The highly-anticipated 30th anniversary tour will kick off at the San Jose Civic in San Jose, CA (Sept. 1) and wrap up at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, IL, on Sept. 28.
“This is a very special year for us. Thirty years is no easy feat, but we’ve powered through thanks to you, our fans!” the band said in a press statement. “We are beyond excited to announce this world tour to celebrate with all of you who have been with us since the beginning.”
Following their performances in Latin American regions like Argentina, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Mexico City, and Peru, the band is finally bringing their 30th anniversary festivities to the U.S. After performing in San Jose, the group will play at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA (Sept. 12); SOMA San Diego in San Diego, CA (Sept. 13); and The Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA (Sept. 14). More tour stops include the 713 Music Hall in Houston, TX (Sept. 18); The Pavilion At Toyota Music Factory in Irving, TX (Sept. 19); and the Payne Arena in Hidalgo, TX (Sept. 20).
The tour’s latter half continues at the Aztec Theatre in San Antonio, TX (Sept. 21); the Orpheum Theatre in Phoenix, AZ (Sept. 25); and the El Paso County Coliseum in El Paso, TX (Sept. 26). They will close their U.S. tour at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, IL, on Sept. 28.

Formed in 1995, Molotov is known for their signature hits like “Gimme Tha Power,” “Frijolero,” and “Voto Latino.” The band recently performed at the Vive Latino in Mexico City, Mexico, as part of their 30th anniversary tour, with Jay de la Cueva substituting Tito Fuentes.
Artist presale tickets for the upcoming tour are on sale from today (Mar. 19) at 10 a.m. PST to Mar. 20 at 10 p.m. PST. General tickets for the tour will be available on Mar. 21 at 10 a.m. PST. Check out the band’s official website for more ticket information.
