Mexican singer-songwriter Natalia Lafourcade is headlining the next El Patio Tecate concert series. During her El Patio set, Lafourcade will be joined by rising Latina artists San Cha, Tatiana Hazel, and Orange Calderón. Regional Mexican music star Chiquis Rivera, the daughter of the late Jenni Rivera, will also make an appearance.
The live show will be streamed today (October 30) at 6:00 p.m. (PST) on Tecate’s YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook pages, as well as the beer brand’s website. She will be kicking off early celebrations for the traditional Mexican holiday El Día de Los Muertos. The holiday will be observed on Nov. 1, the day after Halloween.
“I’m honored to headline the all-female line-up of the second episode of El Patio Tecate in celebration of El Día de los Muertos,” Lafourcade said in a statement. “For me, this special day celebrates the life and memories of those that we love and who have come before us. This day awards us the opportunity to celebrate with ofrendas and marvelous traditions. My ofrenda will be music.”
El Patio Tecate concert series kicked off in August with co-headliners Fuerza Regida and El Fantasma. This Latinx initiative is set to run through December.
