Ángela Aguilar is finally addressing the rumors surrounding her. The Mexican-American songstress opened up for the first time about her relationship, saying that everyone involved is “on the same page” and has a “clear consciousness.” She also alleges that nobody’s heart got broken.
Yesterday (Oct. 17), ABC NEWS LIVE published an exclusive interview with Aguilar, directly asking the singer about her relationship with Christian Nodal after his separation from his baby’s mother, the Argentinian singer Cazzu, and all the rumors that emerged following it. Aguilar says that the public has their version, acknowledging the fact that there are “literally telenovelas” about it.
When asked about the real story, Aguilar says it’s not what the media is illustrating. “It’s not the one that they’re portraying. I don’t feel like – right now, in this point in my life, I don’t really feel like I have to explain anything to anyone. I think that people are being villanized, and I think people are being badly portrayed,” she told the reporter.
She continued: “I think that they’re not putting our characters where they should be. I don’t think that – they don’t even know 5 percent of the story that they’re trying to tell. But that’s OK because that’s what sells. And we’re in an industry, and we’re working.” She goes on to say that she signed up to be a singer but “got all of this,” presumably referring to the media’s attention to her relationship status.

“The only thing that I can say is that all the parties in hand are together and united. And we’re all on the same page, and no one’s heart got broken,” Aguilar clarified. She also mentioned that everyone has “a clear consciousness.” During the chat, she also reiterated that months before the news of her relationship got out, “all of the parties involved” were OK with it.
Moreover, she told the interviewer that it’ll be a while before she becomes a mother, saying that news will come out after she drops six or seven albums from now.
