Everyone’s favorite baby-voiced reggaetonero is back and kicking, reeling off the success of his sophomore album Aura. On Friday, Ozuna kicked off yet another U.S. tour, his first since the release of the project. And as expected, the Puerto Rican artist had some surprises in store for his fans.

On Saturday in Miami, during the second stop of his tour, the “Unica” singer wowed the audience by inviting his friend and close collaborator Anuel AA on stage. As Rapetón reports, it’s the first time Anuel has performed live in two years. In April 2016, he was arrested on weapons charges, and was released in July after a 30-month stint in federal prison. As he told the press over the summer, he could not perform live until he completed 60 days of probation. And in one of his first interviews after his release, he teased a tour and joint album with Ozuna, which was later revealed to be titled Los Dioses.

Before Anuel took the stage at Miami’s American Airlines arena, Ozuna introduced him with a message to the crowd. “I think a lot of people judged him because of his music [and] because of his songs – explicit songs, songs that probably aren’t for everyone. But anyone who knows him well knows that he’s real hasta la muerte,” he said to roaring cheers.

Ozuna and Anuel performed a few of their collaborations, including “Brindemos,” which appeared on Anuel’s surprise album Real Hasta La Muerte. The two rappers also performed “Bebe,” from 2017’s Odisea. Though Anuel recently drew criticism from fans for collaborating with controversial rapper 6ix9ine, who pled guilty to use of a child in a sexual performance in 2015, his celebrity continues to rise.
