Most of us only dream of buying our parents new homes one day, but Ozuna is lucky enough to say that he’s accomplished just that. On New Year’s Eve, the Puerto Rican rapper surprised his mother with a brand new house to say goodbye to 2018. On Instagram, he gave fans a behind-the-scenes tour of the new digs. In the caption, he wrote, “I love you. Thank you for giving me life and for never saying ‘no’ to me. You are the greatest; I love you. Enjoy it, [because] I can sleep anywhere but you shouldn’t have to.”
In the clip, he pans to shots of the bathroom and the pool, which comes complete with Ozuna’s signature bear logo on the floor. In another Instagram video, Ozuna’s mom hugs him before sobbing and thanking her son for the gift, sporting a redecilla and all.
As Ozuna told Billboard Argentina in 2018, he has a close relationship with his mother, but the reggaetonero was mostly raised by his paternal grandmother since his mother was not financially stable enough to provide for him as a child. It makes this kind of gift especially meaningful.
