Video: Polock – “Sometimes”

It’s been over a year since Polock released their debut album Coming Down From The Trees, but the songs still sound as fresh as ever. The Valencian quintet blew us away with the hand-clapping good vibes of first single “Fireworks” last year and also appeared in one of our earlier video projects.

The group returns with a new video for their second single, “Sometimes,” a four-minute opus filled crashing cymbals and jangling guitar licks. The video is an exercise in dynamic lighting and visuals thanks to a few well-placed spotlights and floating pyramids (please refrain from referencing Pink Floyd or the Illuminati).

The visuals then take a impressive cue from Kraftwerk and Daft Punk during the breakdown/solo portion of the song. Also, it looks like Papu cleaned up his hair a bit…but just a bit. There’s no word yet if these guys are coming back to the U.S. this year but let’s hope so.
