Premios Juventud are shaping up to be an unforgettable night for Danna Paola, Grupo Firme’s vocalist Eduin Caz, and Prince Royce. Not only will they host the 19th edition of the highly-anticipated award show, but they’ll also be performing during the ceremony. Other performers include the Mexican-American songstress Ángela Aguilar, who’s up for seven awards including the new category of “Female Artist – On the Rise”; the popular boy band CNCO, who’s set to make a television debut performance of a new single and nominated for two awards; Mexican Regional artist Lenin Ramírez, who’s set to be part of a surprise special performance; the Latine duo Mau y Ricky, who’s nominated for two awards and set to perform “Mal Acostumbrao” and “Llorar y Llorar”;  and Kenia Os, who’s a popular Mexican content creator making inroads in music.

It’s an exciting time for the award show. For the first time ever, Premios Juventud is being held in Puerto Rico at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot. This year’s theme is “Celebrate Your Passion.” Based on this year’s nominations, the ceremony is set to be a night full of top-charting artists. The two leading artists are J Balvin and Karol G, who are each up for 11 awards.

Other nominees include Rauw Alejandro with nine nominations, Farruko with eight, and Camilo with seven. Anitta, Christian Nodal, El Alfa, Maluma, and Rosalía are also part of this year’s nominees, with six nominations each.
