We’re several days into the 20-day Houston Rodeo concert series, and today’s biggest artists are still pulling up to pay tribute to Selena – whose legendary Astrodome performance during the famed 1995 event continues to be a source of admiration and inspiration for many.

Selena tributes are of course, nothing new, but the 24th anniversary of her legendary Astrodome concert is bringing many of pop music’s brightest stars together in honoring La Reina. Just in the past few weeks, we’ve seen yeehaw ambassador Kacey Musgraves deliver a touching rendition of “Como La Flor,” Prince Royce’s bachata take on “No Me Queda Más,” and Cardi B thank the Tejano singer while giving her fans a quick version of “Como La Flor” on her Instagram.

Last night, in front of a crowd of over 55,000, “Havana” singer Camila Cabello added her own voice to the ever-growing list of pop stars offering praise to the late Tejano singer. And though all the previous tributes have been in Spanish up until this point (with Musgraves even showing us she can roll her r’s like a pro) Cabello took things in a different direction by covering Selena’s posthumously released English-Language hit “Dreaming of You.”

And while some might begin to view it as something of a gimmick at this point, it’s important to note the importance of her Astrodome performance, which was also immortalized in her 1997 biopic starring Jennifer López.
