Selena Quintanilla’s ‘Entre a Mi Mundo’ Will Be Available on Vinyl for the First Time

Ahead of the 30th anniversary of Selena Quintanilla’s passing, one of her albums will be available on vinyl for the first time. Fans will soon be able to own the 1992 LP Entre a Mi Mundo.
The anniversary of Quintanilla’s tragic murder is coming up on March 31, 1995. One of her biggest albums released during her lifetime was Entre a Mi Mundo. After signing with EMI in 1989, which boosted her career to new levels, this was the singer’s third LP released with the label in 1992. The album includes one of the most well-known songs from her career, the heartbreaking “Como La Flor.” Other classics on Entre a Mi Mundo include “La Carcacha,” “¿Qué Creías?,” and “Ámame.”
When Entre a Mi Mundo was released in 1992, the album peaked at No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Albums and No. 4 on the Top Latin Albums chart. Over 30 years later, her fans will be able to own the album on vinyl for the first time. The songs will be remastered with updated audio mixes. The LP will be available in a standard red vinyl and an exclusive picture disc that will only be available from the Universal Music Latino webstore.
Fans can now pre-order the two variants of the Entre a Mi Mundo album. The vinyl will be released on April 25, 2025. The Universal Latino webstore also includes the previously released Amor Prohibido vinyl, CD, and cassette tape. Fans can also pick up the two-disc vinyl of her greatest hits LP Ones.

Back in January, a new documentary about the life of the Tejano queen premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Her sister, Suzette Quintanilla, called Selena y Los Dinos a “nugget of love for the future generation.” Later that month, the movie was pulled from streaming on the Sundance website due to footage that was circulating on social media.
