Motherland Festival is back! The new reggaeton and house music festival is returning for its second year, featuring performances by Myke Towers, The Martinez Brothers, Young Miko, Vico C, and more artists. The highly-anticipated event will be taking place at the Balneario de Carolina in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on Nov. 18.

The emerging festival features two stages: the Perreo Stage and the Groove Stage. Along with Myke Tower, Young Miko, and Vico C, other participating artists in the Perreo Stage include Bad Gyal, Dei V, and Brray. Lil Joujou, DJ Luian, and DJ Blass will also be spinning on this stage, and Auudi will be hosting. On the other hand, the Groove Stage will feature the Bronx-born house and techno duo The Martinez Brothers and the Cuban-born electronic house DJ Malóne. More artists are to be announced soon.

Motherland Festival, spearheaded by the electronic music event space figurehead Disco Donnie Presents and the Puerto Rican-based promoter Visionary Ally, made its debut in 2022. During the festival’s first iteration, more than 20,000 festival-goers united to witness performances by Tego Calderón, Zion & Lennox, DJ Playero, and Chencho Corleone. The event’s first edition also included performances by Nio Garcia, Nicky Jam, and Blessd.

“After being in the festival scene here in Puerto Rico for 24 years, I believe that Motherland is going to be THE destination festival in the Caribbean,” Visionary Ally’s Victor Mercado said in a press statement. “It’s a proud moment for me to lead this incredible project with Donnie, who’s a longtime friend. We’re doing this one for the culture and I’m thrilled that we get to shine a spotlight on some incredible Reggaeton as well as House artists along the way.”

Presale tickets go on sale on Thursday (Aug. 31) at 12 p.m. EST. General tickets will go on sale Friday (Sept. 1) at 12 p.m. EST. For more information, including details regarding the presale signup, check out the festival’s official website.
