Carla Morrison is spreading her message about self-love on national television. On Aug. 2, the Mexican singer-songwriter performed “Encontrarme” from her latest album El Renacimiento on “Good Morning America.” She also performed “Todo Fue Por Amor” from the upcoming With This Light film and talked about self-care, among other subjects.

“For the longest time, I was just living to work and not working to live,” Morrison said during the “Good Morning America” interview. “And as a Latina, we’re taught that money and success, that’s what it means. I had to take a step back and really love myself and prioritize my self-care.” After the interview, we see her dressed in a forest green two-piece outfit performing “Encontrarme,” a sentimental track about wanting to find yourself again.

Fans are excited about the new performance in a national television program. A social media user wrote: “Carla Morrison is one of my favorite contemporary artists and I’m excited that her music might reach a new audience.” Others are excited to see her perform live again. A social media user wrote: “Carla Morrison is coming august 21st and I can’t wait to cry to her music love again 😭.”

Morrison also talked about her upcoming performances after a six-year hiatus. Her El Renacimiento Tour will embark on Aug. 4 in Napa Valley, CA. Her tour will take her to major cities in the U.S., including San Diego, CA, on Aug. 8 to 9; Portland, OR, on Aug. 16; Seattle, WA, on Aug. 17; and Chicago, IL, on Aug. 21. One of her most highly-anticipated dates include headlining the iconic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA, on Aug. 12.

Moreover, she spoke about dropping her first-ever English-language track, “Everything Was For Love,” a song about universal love, on Aug. 4.
