Following her first corrido tumbado “DOLCE,” Cazzu is back with another banger. On Mar. 19, the Argentinean trap star dropped “Con Otra,” a cumbia-inspired track about karma. She also released a music video to accompany the single.
Produced by Nico Cotton, the new rhythmic track features instruments like a dancing percussion and lively accordion and narrates the classic story of “what goes around, comes around.” In this case, Cazzu sings to her ex’s new woman, reassuring her that she’s not the enemy — he is. The trapera starts her track strong with words like, “Robado se va lo que robado viene,” setting the mood for the bold cumbia. With lyrics like, “Pero fuiste mala y todo se paga / No soy tu enemiga, tienes tu enemigo durmiendo en tu cama,” and, “No te deseo el mal, pero él te va a engañar con otra / Será con otra y recordarás / De cómo tú te reías el día en que estuve en tu lugar,” Cazzu tells her former man’s new woman that she needs to watch her back, while throwing shots at her ex.
The new music video follows Cazzu as she gets ready to go to a concert. She sings her verses as she showers, chooses her outfit, and does her makeup to head out with her friends. More clips show her getting into a bus, waiting in line to get into the event, and enjoying the show. The artist on stage is shown singing “Con Otra” towards the end of the video.
Though it’s not confirmed who she’s talking about, social media users think it’s about Christian Nodal and Ángela Aguilar. There’s a verse where she sings, “Yo jamás te haría lo que me hiciste / Y con todo y eso que dijiste / Aún así pudiera perdonártelo,” which could be about Aguilar’s past interview where she claimed that everyone involved was “on the same page,” had a “clear consciousness,” and that nobody’s heart got broken. Cazzu later refuted her claims.

Regardless of what the song’s really about, fans are praising the new track. An X user wrote in Spanish: “I can’t stop listening to the cazzu hit!!!!” Another X user commented: “La cazzu learned from Shakira, facturando.”
But it’s not only fans that are thrilled about the new track. Spanish-Mexican pop star Belinda, who also dated Cazzu’s ex-boyfriend and baby’s father, applauded the fresh cumbia. She wrote: “Increíbleeeeeee la jefaaaaa temazoooooo!!! 🙌🙌.” She left a second comment with heart emojis.
Up next, Cazzu is scheduled to perform at Austin’s Bésame Mucho festival on Apr. 5.
