WATCH: Cazzu Says She Found Out About Christian Nodal & Ángela Aguilar’s Relationship Like Everyone Else

Cazzu finally broke her silence about her ex-partner Christian Nodal and his new wife Ángela Aguilar. During a new interview with LUZU TV’s PLP show – hosted by Flor Jazmin, Anita Espósito, and Cazzu’s close friend, singer La Joaqui – the Argentinean rapper addressed Aguilar’s claims about the parties involved all being “on the same page.” Now, Cazzu is dispelling that, saying she did not in fact know about the relationship months before it came to light and that there were many hearts broken.
Earlier this month (Oct. 17), Aguilar spoke with ABC NEWS LIVE about her marriage to Nodal. She told the newscast that the real story is not what the media portrays and that she doesn’t feel the need to explain it to anyone. She also claimed that everyone involved was “on the same page,” had a “clear consciousness,” and that nobody’s heart got broken. The Mexican songstress also reiterated that months before the news of her relationship broke out, “all of the parties involved” were OK with it.
But now, Cazzu is sharing her side of the story. In response to Aguilar’s latter claim, Cazzu said that she didn’t know about the relationship before it came out to the public. The conversation came up when the hosts asked her about her limits. She brought up her past public breakup as an example of her reaching her limit and said she was opening up cause she had reached it with this situation. That’s why she wanted to finally speak publicly.
“At this moment, my integrity as a person was questioned,” the Argentinean rapper told PLP. “It was recently said that I had known about the relationship of these two people for a long time, that they had been in a relationship for many months before it was exposed – and that I was in full awareness [of it].” She said she felt the need to refute said claims since it was implied that she was part of a plan. She also said she wanted to clarify because the claim came directly from someone involved in the situation, meaning Aguilar, rather than someone outside of it.
Cazzu also shared that her life completely changed after the news broke out and that she kept silent because she felt it was the right thing to do — until she reached her limit. She shared that she found out about the relationship through media outlets, just like the public, and that it was a surprise to her.
She also pointed out that it was a “very painful” process and that hearts were broken, contrary to Aguilar’s initial claim. At the end of the conversation, Cazzu reiterated that she’s the only one with the right to talk about her feelings and that it’s time to end the situation, if not for her, then for her daughter.
In the interview, Cazzu also talked about her daughter Inti’s difficult birthing experience, her emotions after giving birth, and learning to be a mother with role models like La Joaqui.
