Christina Aguilera did not disappoint when she took the stage at the Lovers & Friends Festival in Las Vegas, NV, over the weekend (May 6). The pop icon delivered a hit-heavy set, including a surprise performance of “Lady Marmalade” with none other than the legendary Lil’ Kim.

Aguilera graced the star-studded fest as one of its headliners alongside the likes of Mariah Carey, Miguel, Pitbull, Missy Elliott, and Usher. Her performance came with an electrifying start with an explosive rendition of her hit single “Dirrty,” where she brought out Redman as her first surprise guest.

The momentum continued as Aguilera followed that up with a slew of her iconic hits, including “Can’t Hold Us Down” and “Genie in a Bottle.” Much to the delight of her fans, her set became even more memorable as she performed “Tell Me,” her 2006 collaboration with Diddy, for the first time ever.

The excitement reached an all-time high when she introduced Lil’ Kim as her next guest to perform their iconic collaboration, “Lady Marmalade.” This performance marked the first time the pair performed the hit since 2018, when Lil’ Kim made a surprise appearance during Xtina’s Liberation Tour stop in New York.

This special festival set was a likely preview of what’s to come for Aguilera. The “Beautiful” singer was recently announced as the headliner for this year’s Pride Live Stonewall Day 2023 Benefit Concert on June 23 in New York, NY. If this upcoming performance is anything like last year’s LA Pride concert, where she reunited with Mya, you can expect Xtina to pull all the stops once again.
