Feid collaborated with a reggaeton icon on his latest project. The Colombian superstar teamed up with Yandel for their new joint EP Manifesting 20-05, released today (April 11).
Feid and Yandel first collaborated in 2022 on the song “XQ Te Pones Así” from Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo Te Pirateamos El Álbum. They teamed up once again a year later on “Yandel 150,” which became one of 2023’s biggest global hits with over 807 million streams on Spotify. Now they’re back together again for the Manifesting 20-05 EP.
“Thank you @yandel, getting to work with you and your team has been one of the coolest experiences I’ve had in the industry,” Feid wrote in a post on Instagram. “Thank you for making this project with me that had to happen. Manifesting since 2005 and making this a reality in 2024.”
Manifesting 20-05 includes five new songs produced by Tainy and Feid’s usual collaborators Sky Rompiendo and Icon. Feid has mentioned that the goal of this EP was to put a fresh spin on the sound of classic perreo. Tainy had a hand specifically in producing the reggaeton banger “Fecha” and the romantic “No Digas Nada.” Feid and Yandel recapture that knockout chemistry from “Yandel 150.” Each song seamlessly blends together Feid’s Medellín swagger with Yandel’s OG reggaetonero edge.
The Manifesting 20-05 EP came out with lyric videos for each of the five songs. The videos show how Feid, Yandel, and their producers put the tracks together in the studio.
On April 24, Feid will kick off his 2024 Ferxxocalipsis Tour at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA. He also announced the Latin American leg of the tour starting this summer. Over the weekend, Feid put out a limited edition comic book with Marvel that sold-out instantly.
