WATCH: Karol G Joins Sevdaliza on Bilingual Collaboration ‘No Me Cansare’

Karol G is showing her soft and romantic side. On Oct. 17, the Colombian singer teamed up with Iranian-Dutch singer-songwriter Sevdaliza for their newest bilingual reggaeton pop collaboration “No Me Cansare.”
“A song for that beautiful and free love that lets us be ourselves 🤍 Thank you Reina for inviting me to be part of this special project @sevdaliza 🌷,” Karol wrote in Spanish online. ‘No me Cansare’ Available now!” On her Instagram stories, she reposted a snip of the song with a green heart emoji, making fans think it’s dedicated to Feid.
The new music video, directed by WILLEMSKANTINE, features the two artists in Brazil through a black-and-white filter. They trade passionate verses, such as Karol’s lyrics: “Tú me dejas brillar, me siento librе aún siendo tuya / No me cortas las alas, tú me dеjas volar / Recuérdame mirando la luna,” and “Me quiere como soy, no trata de poseerme / Vuelo lejos y no deja de quererme.” Her lyrics narrate an unconditional love story about lovers who allow themselves to be free within their relationship. Moreover, the two artists in the video portray angels with white wings, matching the song’s lyrics such as, “I was born to be an angel.”
Sevdaliza is known for her hit singles like “Alibi” with Pabllo Vittar and Yseult and “Ride Or Die, Pt. 2” with Villano Antillano and Tokischa. During Karol G’s performance in Brazil’s Rock In Rio, she invited the Iranian-Dutch artist to perform “Alibi” with Vittar and Yseult for the first time ever.
Social media users are praising the new track. A YouTube user, @tefislove6576, wrote: “At first I wasn’t convinced by the chorus that came out on tiktok, but after listening to the whole song it just fits perfectly and gives that perspective of peace and love that are transmitted throughout the song and the video, as always Karol and Sev do not disappoint.” Another YouTube user, @MCKGFD, said: “WE ALL DESERVE A LOVE THAT FEELS LIKE THIS SONG 😍💚💖.”
Other social media users are commenting on Sevdaliza’s breakthrough success. YouTube user, @angumendes, commented: “Sevdaliza has been fighting for recognition for so long that it was only this year that she managed to break through the bubble and is gaining more and more admirers. I’ve been a fan of yours for a long time and you deserve all the success in the world. I love you.”
