Madonna wrapped up her five concerts in Mexico City in a big way. On Friday night (April 26), the queen of pop brought out Mexican icon Salma Hayek as a special guest.

All eyes from Madonna’s Mexican fans have been on her special guests for the past few days. On her Celebration Tour, she usually brings out a guest while performing the classic “Vogue.” On April 20, Madonna kicked off the first of five nights at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City. Her first few guests in Mexico City were confusing picks, including Guillermo Rodriguez from Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Cuban actor Alberto Guerra, who has appeared in Narcos: Mexico and Griselda.

For her final night in Mexico City, the Mexican actress joined Madonna on stage during her performance of “Vogue.” She came out dressed up as Frida Kahlo, who she portrayed in the 2002 biopic. Hayek had a blast with the moment by bringing out money to tip Madonna’s dancers. She also shouted “¡Viva México, cabrones!” into the microphone.

Madonna’s fans were living for Hayek’s surprise appearance on the Celebration Tour. “Salma Hayek is Madonna’s last Vogue guest for the tour how fucking iconic is this,” wrote one person on X. Another person added, “One day you are eating 5×20 tacos on a street in Mexico City and the next moment you are sharing the stage with Madonna, SALMA DIOSA HAYEK SEÑORES.”

Madonna’s LGBTQ+ fans in Mexico praised her for bringing out Wendy Guevara as her third guest. The reality TV star and social media influencer made waves in Mexico last year when she won La Casa de Los Famosos. The fact that a majority of the country voted for Guevara, a trans woman, to win the competition was seen as a big moment for queer representation. For night four, Madonna brought out Latina drag queen Pixie Aventura.
