Morat is tapping into ‘90s nostalgia with their new album. This morning (May 23), the Colombian pop-rock group released Ya Es Mañana, which includes features from Camilo and Jay Wheeler. Morat also dropped a VHS-like music video for “Vuelvo a Ti.”

In 2017, the band debuted with its first album, Sobre El Amor Y Sus Efectos Secundarios. The LP included their first big hit, “Mi Nuevo Vicio” featuring Paulina Rubio. The group continued to fuse Latine pop with elements of folk and rock music with their 2018 album Balas Perdidas. But Morat went global with the success of their breakthrough smash “No Se Va.” Later, the song was famously covered by Grupo Frontera, which brought more attention to the Bogotá-based musicians. Last year, Morat embarked on a sold-out world tour, which included stops in the U.S. and 13 other countries.

Now, Morat is kicking off a new era in their career with Ya Es Mañana. The group filters the pop-rock punch they’re known for through a ‘90s lens. The guys unleashed that revamped sound in their previous singles like the feel-good “Me Toca A Mí” featuring Camilo and the anthemic “Por Si No Te Vuelvo A Ver.” Morat also embraces elements of grunge music and style in the pop-punk banger “Vuelvo a Ti.” In the grainy music video, singer Juan Pablo Isaza is haunted by images of an ex.

Puerto Rican singer Jay Wheeler also features on the album. He joins Morat on the soulful synth-pop track “Sin Ti.” Morat makes more allusions to the ‘90s in songs with titles like “MTV” and “Antes De Los 30.”
The group is back on the road with their latest tour “ASUNTOS PENDIENTES 2025.” The tour launched on May 18 in Torreón, Mexico. Their next show will take place on June 19 in San Luis Potosí. In addition to Mexico, the guys will also make stops in Panama, Colombia, Argentina, Bolivia, and Uruguay.
