Two female powerhouses in el movimiento have joined forces. Today (Nov. 14), Argentine superstar Nicki Nicole released the music video for “Enamórate” featuring Spanish rapper Bad Gyal.
Nicki Nicole emerged stronger than ever this year in her latest album Alma, which followed her breakup with ex-boyfriend Trueno. She showed a fiercer side to her artistry in the fiery “Dispara ***” with Milo J and girl power anthem “8 AM” alongside Young Miko. Now, Nicki is nominated for two Latin Grammy Awards, including Best Urban Music Album and Best Rap/Hip Hop Song.
Ahead of the Latin Grammy Awards on Thursday night, Nicki Nicole released her new single “Enamórate.” She teamed up with Bad Gyal, who had a breakthrough year with the “Chulo Pt.2” remix featuring Tokischa and Young Miko. Nicki and Bad Gyal’s sexy collaboration blends elements of dancehall with reggaeton. The two women take turns singing about conquering their lovers in their bedroom. It’s easy to fall in love with this alluring banger.
Nicki Nicole actually performed “Enamórate” live for the first time in August with Bad Gyal at the Movistar Arena in Argentina. After waiting a few months, their fans finally got the music video for the collaboration. Nicki Nicole and Bad Gyal look like queens as they perform the song together in a castle.
Nicki Nicole created a stir online earlier this month during her concert in Mexico City. Following months of speculation, she appeared to confirm her relationship with Mexican singer Peso Pluma. After they performed the remix of “Por Las Noches” together, Nicki and Peso Pluma shared a kiss onstage.
Last month, Bad Gyal teamed up with Karol G’s producer Ovy on the Drums and Colombian singer Ryan Castro for the song “Ghetto Princess.” She also worked with Myke Towers on “Mi Lova,” another single she released this year.
