TikTok’s first live global concert took place last night (Dec. 10) with multiple Latine headliners. Mexican superstar Peso Pluma, Brazilian singer Anitta, and Dominican-American rapper Cardi B performed at the TikTok In The Mix event at Sloan Park in Mesa, AZ. Among other hits, Peso Pluma & Anitta performed their recent collaboration “Bellakeo” for the first time.
The headliners included Peso Pluma, Anitta, Cardi B, Niall Horan, and Charlie Puth. Fans were also able to stream the event live through the TikTok app. During his set, Peso Pluma performed a string of his hits, including “Rubicon” and “Ella Baila Sola” (sans Eslabon Armado). Before singing “Por Las Noches,” his song that features his girlfriend Nicki Nicole on the remix, he said, “Long live love!” Peso Pluma then planted a kiss on the camera.
Last Friday, Peso Pluma and Anitta released their collaboration “Bellakeo.” The crowd went wild when he invited the Brazilian pop star to the stage. For the first time, Peso Pluma and Anitta performed their sexy song live together. While singing the reggaeton banger, Anitta was perreando with Peso Pluma.
Anitta also performed a set of her own at TikTok In The Mix. She brought Brazilian funk to the event when she performed “Used to Be” and her new song “Grip.” Anitta had the crowd cheering loudly when she executed fierce dance moves to the bouncy rhythm. She also sang her breakthrough hit “Envolver,” which was one of the biggest songs from 2022.
Cardi B closed out TikTok In The Mix with her hits-filled set. She emerged from an egg to perform her biggest hits like “Bodak Yellow,” “I Like It,” “WAP,” and “Bongos.” Cardi B also covered Beyoncé’s song “Rocket” during her performance. Her red bodysuit appeared to be an homage to Selena’s purple outfit from her last concert at the Houston Astrodome in 1995. “2024, I’m coming even harder!” Cardi B told the crowd.
