Cha-chau! Peso Pluma appears to be at a peak right now. Not only did he win big during Premios Juventud last night (July 20), but the Mexican artist also dropped a new music video for “LADY GAGA” featuring Junior H and Gabito Ballesteros. “LADY GAGA” is part of his newest album GÉNESIS.
Directed by Fernando Lugo, the new music video follows a purple-hued camera lens. The visuals show the three singers clapping, admiring, and being fascinated with models. The trio sits in front of a runway, watching the models walk and get photographed. Another shot shows them in a cube-like room with transparent walls, bouncing their verses to one another. A different shot shows Peso Pluma on top of an airplane’s wing, singing and dancing to the tune as the aircraft flies among purple-colored clouds.
Fans are praising the new music video’s aesthetic. A YouTube user, lourdesdieguez1579, wrote: “This music video is something very different, with a lot of aesthetics and a lot of work involved. PP is doing something different, he’s revolutionizing. A great 💜💜🕷🕷🕷.” Another YouTube user, FastDisaster, wrote: “This is a great video! Let’s normalize videos like this in regional Mexican! 🎥🔥.
Others are commenting about the trio’s work together. A YouTube user, indionopalez3716, said: “I’m so proud of these youngsters . pushing the line…💯.”
The three emerging artists sang “LADY GAGA” live for the first time during Peso Pluma’s show in Bakersfield, CA, on July 7. Peso is still on tour, set to perform tonight (July 21) in Las Vegas, NV. Junior H is starting his U.S. tour in Los Angeles, CA, on Aug. 11. As for Ballesteros, he’s busy as part of Natanael Cano’s Tumbados Tour in Mexico.
