Shakira is embracing her single era. On Oct. 11, the Colombian icon released the music video for her newest afrobeat-infused reggaeton single, “Soltera,” featuring highly-anticipated cameos by Anitta, Danna, Lele Pons, Natti Natasha, and Winnie Harlow. Bizarrap is also in the music video.
In an Instagram live earlier today (Oct. 11), Shakira reunited with Pons, Natti Natasha, Danna, and Anitta to recap and hype the new music video. Shakira thanked the girls for participating in the video and supporting each other. She also said that Anitta was the first one to agree to participate in the music video.
Last month, Shak was spotted recording the visuals for “Soltera” with the girls dancing at LIV Nightclub in Miami, FL. Now, we finally have the results. The new music video starts with Shakira in a hotel room, getting flashbacks from a crazy night out. The video then takes on their epic night out by showing the girls in a car going to a casino where they gamble with Bizarrap. In a different scene, the girls end up playing strip poker, with a cameo of Harry Jowsey taking off his clothes. Other shots feature the girls dancing at a nightclub and taking shots. They also show frames of the ladies enjoying their time in a pool and on a boat.
“Soltera” follows the singer’s highly-buzzed album Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, which landed her three nominations for this year’s Latin Grammys. The “Te Felicito” singer is up for Album of the Year, Song of the Year for “(Entre Paréntesis)” featuring Mexican-American group Grupo Frontera, and Best Latin Electronic Music Performance for the Tiësto remix of “BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 53.”

Moreover, she’s also on the heels of kicking off her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, CA (Nov. 2). After touring throughout the U.S., she will continue to perform venues in Latin America, including Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, and Mexico.
