WATCH: Shakira Gives Intimate Performance of ‘Antología’ on ‘The Tonight Show’

Shakira is giving new life to her classics. On May 19, the Colombian superstar sang her hit single “Antología” on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, as part of her ongoing U.S. tour promotion.

It’s been a busy month for Shak. She’s been promoting the ongoing U.S. leg of her massive Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour, which officially kicked off on May 13. To hype up her fans, she’s been a special guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on multiple occasions. On May 6, Fallon aired a special interview with the star. Then, a performance of “Hips Don’t Lie” alongside Wyclef Jean came out on May 8. And now last night, he aired an intimate performance of Shakira’s classic “Antología,” which is celebrating its 30th anniversary.

“What a special moment with this sweet audience tonight at @fallontonight ! All my love to @jimmyfallon and his incredible team!” Shakira wrote on an Instagram story. “Thank you guys for having us three times this month!!” 

The acoustic performance featured fans surrounding Shakira in a 180-degree stage set-up. Throughout the performance, the audience echoed the Spanish lyrics back to the Colombian superstar, all while waving their arms to the beat. The audience’s emotions all these years later prove that the song still remains a fan favorite. “Qué bien cantan!” the “TQG” singer told the audience at the end of the song. 

Fans are thrilled about the performance. An Instagram user, fatishakifan, wrote: “Shakira performing this 90’s timeless ballad which she wrote and produced at just 17 years old in American TV show in 2025 is something incredible and amazing. 🧡🥹.” Another Instagram user, oohguurl, commented: “Living legend🙌🔥.”

Shak’s Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour continues tonight (May 20) in Montreal, Québec, Canada. It will then proceed in the U.S. with upcoming performances in Detroit, MI (May 22), and at Chicago’s Sueños Music Festival (May 24).
