It appears Pitbull is jumping on reality TV star Heidi Montag’s resurrected pop hit. After Montag and her husband Spencer Pratt lost their homes due to the Palisades fire in Los Angeles, CA, the reality star villain asked their fans to stream his wife’s music to support their family. He also pursued a feature from global super Pitbull, and it turns out it’s actually happening.

On Jan. 12, a video online showed Pratt seemingly talking to someone about the potential Pitbull remix for Montag’s “I’ll Do It.” “It’s looking like Pitbull’s getting on ‘I’ll Do It’ remix,” Pratt said in the video. “He has the files right now… And Warner said we could get it up within 24 hours.”

Fast forward to this weekend, Montag posted a new TikTok video featuring the Cuban-American’s signature vocals on her pop hit. “This @Pitbull verse makes me cry every time 🙏 so excited to release this and help rebuild LA💕,” she wrote in the video’s caption.

You can hear Pitbull shouting out Montag at the beginning of the remix before her chorus comes on. In his intro, he says: “Heidi, you know what they say, God closes a door, [but] opens a window.” Before revealing the remix at an LA fire relief event, Montag introduced it as a new version with a “huge superstar.”

Pratt also seemingly talked about the upcoming remix in a recent social media video. He said he was given permission to announce the “biggest news” that everyone on TikTok made happen. Although he didn’t reveal full details about when it’ll officially drop, he teased: “It happened. It’s done. I have it on my phone. I’m just waiting to do it professionally – properly – so it hits the hundred million monthly listeners that it should… So, thank you, everyone.” The remix was originally an idea from a TikTok creator who did a mashup with Pitbull’s vocals on Montag’s “I’ll Do It.”

Moreover, Pratt is also calling in their loyal fans for a “group project” to listen to all of her Superficial albums to help her go No. 1 on Billboard this week. Montag also recently released an official video for “I’ll Do It.”
