Tokischa is on a roll this month, maybe in more ways than one. The Dominican rapper just dropped “Kilo,” a collaboration with The Martinez Brothers, on Dec. 5.

“Kilo” is a hypnotizing house track that slings effortlessly between Tokischa’s signature rap cadence and the Martinez Brothers’ slick production. The visual is a supercut of Tokischa in different settings. Whether she’s swinging on a swing set, performing at clubs, or roaming the streets of Santo Domingo, Tokischa is guaranteed to be having a good time. The collaborators will clearly have more to celebrate now that “Kilo” is already getting some passionate responses on social media.

“Kilo by Tokischa is gonna explode on the streets this Christmas,” wrote a fan on Twitter.

“KILO by The Martinez Brothers & Toksicha [is] straight fire” wrote another fan on social media.

“That Tokischa and The Martinez Brothers track [though]?” shared another fan followed by fire emojis.

Coincidentally, this isn’t the first time Tokischa has been singing about “kilos” lately. Last month, Toki teamed up with Mexican rapper Natanael Cano to release “Kilos de Amor,” further adding to the tally of singles the provocateur has released this year alone.

The Dominican rapper has had a busy year touring Europe and the U.S. while simultaneously dropping buzzy collaborations with Madonna, Ozuna, Anuel AA, and Ñengo Flow. Global superstar Drake also attended her sold-out Miami concert, fueling rumors about a possible collaboration. Tokischa doesn’t seem to show signs of slowing down anytime soon as she’s set to appear at the Primavera Sound festival in Spain next year.

The Martinez Brothers have also had a successful 2022 as they continued to tour around the world, perform a set at Coachella, and hold a residency at Hï Ibiza. Their recent foray into Latine pop included collaborations with the likes of Rauw Alejandro and Fuego.
