It used to be that mixtapes were actually DJ sets recorded on cassette tapes, but with the coming of the digital music age, the name remained the same, but the definition expanded. Nowadays, people call mixtapes many different things, some of which are not necessarily mixed and most of which were never taped. At the steering wheel of this pirate ship you have Papi Pérez, who just put together this short mix to celebrate the 3rd anniversary of the party. In just 12 minutes he managed to compress hours of dance-floor madness, covering all the wide range of styles and tempos they play at the party with perfectly smooth transitions.
