In addition to their professional link as two of the Spanish-speaking world’s rising R&B and urbano stars, one imagines that Jesse Baez and C. Tangana get on fairly well. The two originally paired off for “No Eres Tú,” a wistful sing-song single that dropped around March of this year. They just found reason to re-converge for “Facíl,” a cocky new track that features Baez’s falsetto on a trap-ish hook, with Tangana dropping through for a triumphant verse after his global market breakthrough year. Lyrics cover everything from tirando DMs to rockeando Balenciaga; the major label artists are wading their way through an increasingly jet-set world, a fact which they are only too happy to share with fans.

The video clip follows the pair on their recent trip to Las Vegas for the Latin Grammys, lo-fi antics shot through mirrored hotel ceilings and party bus singalongs. Their adventure definitely counted as a good moment to catch Baez and Tangana’s extended clan of collaborators and music industry kin — J Balvin, Álvaro Díaz, MLKMN, Fuego, and Dillon Francis all make cameos. Whatever happened to “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas?”
