Emerging urbano trio El Batallon may have recently released the dancefloor-ready “No Te Pue Killa,” but group member T.Y.S. has taken a break to search for love in his new solo effort “Ride With Me.” In the track, which was produced by Shadow Blow, the Santo Domingo native is ready to explore the chemistry between his very own around-the-way girl.
T.Y.S. seems eager to embrace the sensitive thug trope with the song, which fits squarely in Baby Bash “Suga, Suga” territory, thanks to his whispery vocals and the sparse, dreamlike production via Shadow Blow.
No word on whether T.Y.S.’s solo venture will be included on El Batallon’s Tres: El Album, which is expected later this year.
