We’ve counted at least five edits that are worth a listen. But fear not, the digging is over – Mad Decent just dropped an official Spanish rework of Major Lazer and MØ‘ s ubiquitous summer jam, and it stars none other than reggaeton darlings J Balvin, Farruko, and Control Machete’s legendary Mexican DJ Toy Selectah. The Latino remix of the track features sugary vocals from the Colombian and Puerto Rican reggaetoneros, who croon about a more-than-just-friends lady they’ve got their eye on. Toy Selectah adds a touch of expertly-placed dembow riddims, so all in all, I might just start listening to this rework instead of the original.
