In June, Miguel left us with his steamy third album Wildheart to explore and play during the hot summer months. Now that the weather is cooling down, the singer is bringing the heat back with a “re-lit” version of deluxe album cut “Simple Things.” The remix features Chris Brown and Future. Before you say, “What, two and a half singers on the same track?” Miguel and Brown share the limelight rather well and only gracefully collide on the second chorus. While it’s still weird to see Future on a track without Drake (What A Time To Be Alive, right?), the Atlanta rapper gives the song the edge a “re-lit” single is meant to have. Remix or no remix, it’s a good excuse to revisit Miguel’s latest album.
