With all the romance and affection still fresh in the air from Valentine’s Day, Puerto Rican trappers Noriel and Bryant Myers, along with some assistance from Dominican bachatero Prince Royce, deliver this aptly timed cuffing season send-off “No Love.”

Linking with Prince Royce over Instagram, and having already collaborated with Myers, Noriel brings us the third single off the upcoming project Trap Capos Season II. The original installment of Trap Capos was the first trap en español compilation to appear on the Billboard charts, a feat that echoes the early commercial success reggaeton garnered via mixtapes like Más FlowTrap Capos Season II is sure to paint a portrait of the burgeoning movement as it continues to evolve; Billboard reports that the album will feature collabs from heavyweights like Farruko, Arcángel, Bad Bunny, and more, creating a document of trap en español’s major players.

On “No Love,” the multi-genre trinity provides a bumping reminder that some of us aren’t out here to catch feelings – but if you’re in need of some momentary intimacy, we got you. As we know, these no-strings-attached situations don’t always play out as smoothly as we imagine them, and the stormy aesthetics of the Fernando Lugo-directed visuals for “No Love” do well to capture the tempestuous nature of these scenarios.

Prince Royce sets the video off, alternating between a steamy exchange with his masqueraded mistress in the whip, and a trap-stanced delivery of his verse set to a backdrop of tangled sheets and seductive silhouettes. Noriel dives into similar sentiments in his verse, although his shorty shares a mutual understanding of the brief timing of their encounter, along with a fondness for film and garments. The visuals follow Noriel, trapero energy on 10, as he navigates a room full of faceless mannequins, rapping into the ear of his likewise anonymous, diamond-encrusted face mask-donning baddie. Previous “Cuatro Babys” collaborator Bryant Myers ties this no-strings-attached anthem together with some shamelessly salacious lyrics detailing his after-hours escapades set in a fittingly vivid red scene. Be on the lookout for Trap Capos Seasons II, keep it a stack with your partners, and love responsibly and honestly y’all.
