Phynx Puts a Slow Perreo Spin on Justin Bieber and Plan B With New Bootlegs

Guadalajara producer Phynx ended up on our list of the top 10 Breakout Artists of 2015, thanks to his eclectic but controlled musical vision, one that bounces between slow perreo and bubbling R&B. His killer remix of J Balvin‘s “Ginza” is still in our rotation after all these months. So he’s starting the year on the right foot, following the remix path and sharing two brand new bootlegs.

First, we have his interpretation of “What Do You Mean?,” the Justin Bieber and Jack Ü collaboration that turned grown-ass men and women into Beliebers last year. While the original is more flirtatious and playful, Phynx’s edit is downright sensual and transforms the hit into a trap number. It’s at once huge and delicate, full of unexpected twists, like harp fills and key changes.

His flip of Plan B‘s “Fanática Sensual” finds him in the reggaeton lane once again. R&B vibes prance around a trap beat, ensuring you can still get your romantic perreo on. Download the reworks for free here:
