We’re less than a month away from the release of Ilimitado, Florentino’s forthcoming five-track EP and follow up to his 2018 Fragmentos EP. And from everything we know so far, we have every reason to be excited. Earlier this month, we got our first taste, with the Colombian-British producer sharing “Na Fuga,” his infectious grime-meets-funk carioca collaboration with MC Bin Laden and MC Buzzz (f.k.a. MC Buseta) Now, his second single, “Tu Mirada,” takes us to the Caribbean, with a little assist from Spain.

Exclusively premiering on Remezcla today, “Tu Mirada” features Madrid singer-rapper Kaydy Cain – of PXXR GVNG (now Los Santos) and La Mafia del Amor fame – who lends his raspy voice to Florentino’s electronic reggaeton fantasy. With a pounding beat, growling bass, and synths that resemble techno and dancehall at the same time, “Tu Mirada” hits hard, almost as if it’s supposed to make us forget all about an old love that’s no more. But ultimately, Cain can’t shake this woman out of his head, and instead of hiding his feelings, he sheds tears and even pours a drink as he hopes for her return.

Listen to it above and get ready for some sad perreo.

Ilimitado is dropping on July 19 through Mixpak Records.
