It’s clear that Chilean rapper and producer Tane likes to keep himself busy. In April, he released his Young, Winning and Shining mixtape, an introduction to crisp rhymes about the come up in Chile. Now the MC is set to put out a brand new collection of Atlanta-infused trap at the beginning of 2017. Continuing with the three-word title format, his upcoming project is titled Money, Pills & Weed. It features collaborations with artists across Latin America, including Trap Drillers, Wildcat, Chilean producer Ceaese, and slo-mo R&B MC Rimagna of Mexico’s DaFuture collective. We’re premiering “No Quiere Na,” the first taste of this tape, a joint venture between him and fellow Chilean artist Kriser One.

“No Quiere Na” is an edgy morsel of Chilean trap, telling the story of a woman who’s in total control of herself, her business, and her sexuality. Backed by rippling hi-hats and a menacing 808 bass line, the two MCs describe a woman who knows exactly how to do things her own way. “No quiere nadie que le diga qué hacer/es ambiciosa, a ella le gusta el poder,” they spit in auto-tune. And even though this cool and confident reina seems to be the strong, silent and solo type (aka she’s only got time for herself), the song is ultimately a celebration of women who know what they want.
