Get to know the “triángulo de éxitos” of D.F., a.k.a. producer BrunOG and MCs Tony Money and Young Miky (T.Y.). Thanks to this release from Bass Rats, a collective based in Mexico that promotes global bass and related sounds, we have the latest look at reggaetón mexicano. Though this origin story isn’t typically associated with the genre, it’s yet another clear indication that the Perreo Life is being embraced far and wide, beyond its Caribbean starting point.

“Tu Mirada” is a delicately auto-tuned nod to the genre, with an almost electro-based melody, following a familiar club seduction story with promises we can co-sign like “vamos a sudar, bebé.” This crew has previously worked with fellow Bass Rats artists Ghetto Kids on their dreamy reggaetón collaboration “Ven Mi Niña,” among others from the scene like El Catorce, DJ Alan Rosales, Yelram Selectah, and more.
