Chilean trio MKRNI are still squeezing out singles from their 2014 album Canciones, and why wouldn’t they? It is full of hits. They picked “Mi Cuerpo Pide,” one of the album’s standout tracks, as the fourth one, and they just put out a candid and playful music video to accompany it.
Nicolás Spencer, who also worked with the band on the “Humedad” video, is back on directorial duties, and portrays the band having fun under the sun in the Parque Inglés national park, in Chile. The images went through a VHS-like video treatment to give it the nostalgic quality of an old-school summer vacation while they get their wet suits on and get in the lake for some careless fun in the water.
MKRNI are part of the Carnaval de Bahidorá festival lineup late February. Stay tuned for some more dates in Mexico.
