Did Bad Bunny and Lionel Messi collaborate on a new shoe for adidas? Take this news with a grain of salt, but a leaked report has recently hit online stating that the record-breaking musician and world-renowned athlete have come together to launch a pair of fútbol cleats.
The news comes with images of the cleats, which are being called The Adidas F50 2024 “Messi x Bad Bunny.” The shoes are a bronzy color with hints of creamy white and cyan. The phrase “Messi para Bad Bunny” can be seen on the shoe’s tongue. Let’s also not forget adidas’s classic Trefoil logo.
According to the report, the new cleats are fitted with the same technology as Messi’s other signature shoes, which include El Retorno, Mi Historia, and The Nemeziz.
It should come as no surprise to see Benito and Messi join forces. Bad Bunny is a big fan of the Argentine fútbol player. Last year, he dropped Messi’s name five times in his new album Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana.
For example, in his song “Vuelve,” Benito sings the lyrics, “Since Messi is in the USA, everyone knows who the GOAT is? It’s no longer Tom Brady.” In his song “Monaco,” he sings, “What you do doesn’t impress me. It’s like scoring a goal after Messi and Maradona.”
The Adidas F50 2024 “Messi x Bad Bunny” shoes are rumored to debut in October 2024 for approximately $280. Until then, maybe take a look at Neymar’s new cleats, the Puma Future 7 Neymar BNA.
