Chicharito Hernández Leads the Starting Lineup of This Year’s Bundesliga

No one will dispute that Javier “Chicharito” Hernández made the right move by transferring from Manchester United to German squad Bayer Leverkusen. He went from spending practically all of last season on the bench with Real Madrid and being laughed at by Dutch manager/asshole Louis Van Gaal during the Manchester United pre-season, to being one of the best players in the German league with 17 league goals this season.

And beautiful ones too…

Of course, there were also impressive one-on-one goals:

Even Barcelona couldn’t stop him this year.

This week, fans voted to decide the Bundesliga’s starting lineup for the season, and the Mexican striker came out on top – way on top.

With 59,566 votes, the Mexican striker is far from his closest follower, Marco Reus, who had 20,590.

Javier Hernández is the only player in the starting lineup who’s not from either champions Bayern Munich or Borussia Dortmund. The following season should be an exciting one for the Mexican when Bayer Leverkusen plays in the Champions League, and a top-shape Chicharito will have a great opportunity to improve his fourth place finish in the League’s top scorer list.
