After conquering the music scene, Blessd is now stepping into the world of sports. As the lead investor in the Legacy Sports Partners Fund, the Colombian star is now a proud owner of the Vendsyssel FF football club.

Blessd, who was born Stiven Mesa Londoño, hails from Medellín, Colombia. He’s a part of the new wave of artists from that city that are following in the footsteps of J Balvin, Maluma, Karol G, and Feid. Blessd has racked hundreds of millions of streams on Spotify with his reggaeton hits like “Mírame,” “Instagram,” and “Si Sabe Ferxxo” featuring Feid. At 24-years-old, he is now adding a football club to his business portfolio. Blessd has become the largest investor of the Legacy Sports Partners Fund, which acquired the Danish football club Vendsyssel FF.

“I am beyond thrilled to take on this incredible project with Vendsyssel FF,” he said in a statement. “Football has always been a passion of mine, and being able to connect it with my journey in music is a dream come true. Together, we will create something truly special for both music and football fans, uniting the best of two worlds—America and Europe—enhancing the club’s culture, and reaching new heights in Denmark and beyond.”

Vendsyssel FF was founded in 2013 and it’s become one of premier football clubs in Denmark for young talent. After becoming an owner of the club, Blessd wants to bridge the gap between music and sports. His plans include expanding commercial opportunities through “sportainment” brand partnerships and growing fan engagement with music-related events. Blessd will also strengthen the football club’s youth academy and expand talent scouting into Latin America and Colombia.

Last month, Blessd wrapped up his co-headlining ¡Ay Bendito Ghetto! Tour with Ryan Castro in the U.S. Castro, his frequent collaborator, also recently entered the sports world by acquiring a significant stake of the Paisas Basketball club, which is based in their hometown of Medellín.
