The youngest daughters of late basketball legend Kobe Bryant were showing off their basketball skills this past weekend with one of their father’s former teammates.

Bryant’s widow Vanessa posted a video and photos of their daughters, Bianka, 4, and Capri, 2, running around the basketball court at the Los Angeles Lakers’ practice facility with ex-Laker Pau Gasol. The Spanish baller, known to the kids as Uncle Pau, was teammates with Bryant from 2008 to 2014 and won two championships together during that time.

In one of the videos, Gasol dribbles the basketball between his legs while Bianka plays her best defense and tries to steal it from him. At one point, she ends up crawling between Gasol’s long legs to swipe at the ball. There are also pictures of Capri using some soccer skills to get the basketball to go where she wants. Gasol has no problem receiving an assist from Capri with her tiny feet.

Gasol also worked with Bianka on her shooting technique from the paint and even lifted her, so she could get closer to the basket. She might be a few feet away from dunking the ball, but with Gasol’s help, we’re sure Kobe would be proud of the time he’s spending with his little girls.

“Always the best times with the kids,” Gasol commented on the videos and photos.

In September 2020, Gasol named his first child Elisabet Gianna Gasol. Gianna was the name of Kobe’s 13-year-old daughter who tragically died with him when their helicopter crashed in late January 2020.
