There’s a new Super Bowl Champion. The Philadelphia Eagles won the biggest NFL game of the season 40-22 to take the crown of best team in the NFL. The team, led by Quarterback Jalen Hurts, played a near-perfect game as they prevented the Chiefs from becoming the first NFL team in history to win three Super Bowls in a row.

Super Bowl LIX, which was played at the Caesars Superdome, commonly known as the Superdome, in New Orleans, saw Kendrick Lamar, featuring SZA, Samuel L. Jackson, Mustard, and a cameo appearance by Serena Williams, headline the Halftime Show.

The Philadelphia Eagles have no Latino players. The Kansas City Chiefs have RB Isiah Pacheco and Kicker Matt Araiza. Last year, when the Kansas City Chiefs won their second-straight Super Bowl, Pacheco celebrated with a Puerto Rican flag, and said on live TV, “You gotta represent. You don’t got too many Puerto Ricans doing this thing. You always got to represent your country.” This year, he represented once again. He just didn’t get to celebrate.

Instead, Pachecho was a non-entity in a game the Eagles dominated, and which saw KC score most of its points after the game was already decided. Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City’s star QB, was sacked 6 times — the most he has been sacked by any defense in his career — and threw 2 interceptions. He also had one fumble. That pretty much means the Eagles’ defense dominated, with the Philadelphia defensive line in particular in control of the line of scrimmage at all times.

The Chiefs dynasty talk can take a break for a while. Now, it’s time for the Philadelphia Eagles.
