The FIFA 2026 World Cup is here, and as you sit down and plan your snacks and outfit for the opening game, there’s an even more important question that needs to be answered. Where can you watch the games? If you’re looking to watch in Spanish, and you’re in the U.S., we’ve got you covered!
Telemundo will deliver exclusive Spanish-language coverage for all 104 games of the World Cup in the United States. They will complement that with more than 700 hours of World Cup programming from June 11 to July 19, 2026. Of those matches, 92 will air on Telemundo and 12 on Universo, which breaks a record as the most World Cup matches ever broadcast on a U.S. network, regardless of language.
Every one of the matches will also stream live on Peacock and the Telemundo App.
For the Opening Day coverage, the telecast will begin early in the morning at 8ET, with a Desfile de Celebración Mundial special, which is set to feature performances from Bacilos, Boza, Carlos Baute, Carlos Rivera, Chiquis, Fanny Lu, Johan Vera, Mau y Ricky, Micah Palace, Piso 21, Emmanuel, and others. The Opening Ceremony is then set for 1 p.m. ET, live from Mexico City Stadium in Mexico.
The Opening Match, Mexico vs. South Africa, is set for 2:30 p.m. ET. Telemundo will continue with post-match analysis and live reports until the second game of the day, Korea Republic vs. Czechia, which will take place at 9:30 p.m. ET in Guadalajara Stadium in Mexico.
You can also watch a nightly recap show on Telemundo as soon as that match ends.
