Leading up to the Nov. 3 elections, Texas has shocked the nation with its unusually high early voter turnout. As of Oct. 28, the Texas Tribune reports, 51% of registered Texas voters have already cast their ballots, putting the state on track to easily surpass its 2016 overall voting totals by election day next Tuesday.
