Miguel’s 2015 album Wildheart was a sprawling opus, one where the R&B singer confronted his Latinidad for the first time. Since that record dropped last summer, we’ve seen Miguel take his explorations of his Latino identity even further; he recently collaborated on a Spanish-language track with Argentine band Illya Kuryaki & the Valderramas and has been flaunting sleek sarape looks over the past few months.

Last night, Miguel gifted us with another Spanish-language cut on Instagram – a haunting cover of Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love.” In September, Miguel dropped an English-language rendition of the track for Fifty Shades Darker, the second film based on the divisive Fifty Shades of Grey series. But this lurching, breathless take on the Yoncé classic is almost more affecting in Spanish. We’ll have to wait to hear the full track when the soundtrack drops in February, but you can stream a clip on Instagram below:

Full teaser from @FiftyShadesMovie is here, with my Spanish version of #CrazyInLove
