Target has set its sights on South America for one of its new in-store collaborations. For a limited time, the retail chain will soon welcome Colombia-based brand Agua Bendita to 1,000 stores and Target.com as part of its Spring Designer Collection.

The women-owned beachwear label describes itself as “faithful to the power of intuition from its origin, mixing strong, transforming, and colorful, feminine energy, traveling through maximalist pieces full of manual details and includes colorful, hand-painted swimwear and brand.” And the styles are designed by its founders, Catalina Álvarez and Mariana Hinestroza.

“This collection is special because agua bendita means ‘holy water,’ so we were thinking good energy, good vibes, good things for you,” Álvarez and Hinestroza told The Cut. “So, the woman who wears Agua Bendita has to be confident.”

In an online advertisement about the collab, Hinestroza said she is inspired by the people, traditions, and music of her country. Álvarez calls the collection “the magic of vacation.”

Along with Agua Bendita, Target has invited two other brands to participate in this year’s Spring Designer Collection: Fe Noel and Rhode. Together, the collection will feature more than 100 apparel items and accessories ranging in size from XXS to 4X and ranging in price from $15 to $48. One of the pieces from this Colombian brand in particular will include a peony-print, one-piece swimsuit with long sleeves for $45 and the collection will launch on April 15, 2023.
