And SPOILERS, of course, from epic lip-sync battles to shocking eliminations.

Drag Race: México 2×10 was the most heartwarming episode of this season. The five remaining contestants reunited with loved ones for the makeover challenge. In their pairs, they also dragged up the Mexican tradition of lucha libre on the runway. Mexican designer Benito Santos joined Lolita Banana, Taiga Brava, and Óscar Madrazo on the judging panel this week. And the finalists were also revealed following a lip-sync to a Fey classic.

The episode opened with the queens reading Unique’s farewell message in the Werk Room. Jenary Bloom was absent after it was revealed that she suffered an injury during the lip-sync. She later reunited with her castmates and let them know that she would still compete while recovering from tendonitis.

Taiga Brava and Lolita Banana directed them to the TV screen and each queen received video messages from their friends and family members. The co-hosts then announced that the makeover challenge was coming up next. And the ones getting the makeovers were their families.

For the makeover challenge, Eva Blunt and Jenary Bloom were paired with their partners. Leexa Fox was partnered with her sister, who is openly lesbian. Horacio Potasio and Elektra Vandergeld reunited with their close friends.

While in the Werk Room, they shared intimate and emotional conversations with their loved ones. Horacio Potasio talked about being disappointed that her parents didn’t wish her well in her video message. In a powerful moment, Jenary Bloom opened up to her partner about her experience of being raped and living with HIV following the assault. The queens had their support systems there for them.

Over on the runway, Lolita Banana and Taiga Brava stepped out in gowns that were designed by Santos. The theme this week was Luchadoras Exóticas. Not only did the queens dress up like Mexican wrestlers with their partners, they also had to choreograph wrestling routines. With her sister, Leexa Fox sent an empowering message about the non-binary community through their outfits. Eva Blunt and her partner were a standout out with their tag-team routine. She claimed her second Maxi Challenge win and secured a spot in the finale.

Leexa Fox and Horacio Potasio were also announced as finalists.

As the bottom two this week, Jenary Bloom and Elektra Vandergeld battled it out for the last spot in the finale. The queens playfully interacted with each other during the lip-sync to Fey’s “Azúcar Amargo.” And after the fun performance, Elektra Vandergeld became the fifth queen to sashay away.

Next week, the whole cast will reunite for the reunion episode.
