We’re officially halfway through 2022, and VEVO has released a list of the biggest music videos of the year so far. And to no one’s surprise, Latine music and artists dominated the top 10 of the list. Joining Disney’s Encanto among the biggest music videos of the year are Karol G, Christian Nodal, and Shakira.

It’s become an annual tradition for VEVO to reveal the biggest music videos halfway through the year and for the end of the year. On this year’s list, Latine music occupies most of the top 10. This list takes into account the music videos’ performance on a global scale, so the feat is even more impressive.

Songs from Disney’s Encanto take up four spots in the top 10, and the biggest music video of 2022 so far is “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.” The movie’s cast had a big moment this year when they performed at the 2022 Academy Awards in March. Sebastián Yatra’s “Dos Oruguitas” rounds out the top 10. He also proudly represented Colombia with his performance at the Oscars.

Karol G is holding down the No. 3 spot with her global smash hit “Provenza.” The Colombian superstar released the Afro-beats-influenced bop back in April. With summertime here, Karol G’s feel-good anthem is continuing to ride high on the charts. The song has peaked at No. 25 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 chart.

A surprising entry on the top 10 is Christian Nodal’s “Ya No Somos Ni Seremos” at No. 5. The Mexican singer released the breakup track shortly after announcing his split from Spanish pop star Belinda. The dramatic black-and-white music video has over 120 million views on YouTube.

Shakira is at No. 8 with her kiss-off anthem “Te Felicito” featuring Rauw Alejandro. With fans taking it as a potential diss track to her ex Gerard Piqué, the song’s popularity has skyrocketed in the past few weeks. The Colombian icon is also appearing on TV each week on NBC’s Dancing With Myself. “Te Felicito” has peaked at No. 67 on the Hot 100 chart.

Among the few non-Latine music videos on the list are Harry Styles’ “As It Was” and Lil Baby’s “In A Minute.” There’s also another Disney entry with “Nobody Like U” from the movie Turning Red
