Walmart has been keen on bringing fashion and design onto consumer shelves, and for Our Heritage Month, the retailer is shining the spotlight on two Latine designers in particular.

The retailer has announced the launch of its inaugural project, The Nuevolution Project, that features a collection of exclusive, only-at-Walmart products that celebrates visionary creatives that are shaping culture.

The Nuevolution Project is a capsule collection featuring an assortment of “bold, style-forward” home and apparel items that showcase designs by luxury LA-based streetwear design label, Wish Me Luck, and Puerto Rican graffiti artist and ceramicist Roberto Lugo.

The Wish Me Luck line features an assortment of vintage-inspired garments including button down bowling shirts, workwear jackets, hoodies, and tees in shades ranging from navy, to browns and off-white creams. The garments include the label’s logo, along with the expression “DREAMERS” and “From the Motherland” stamped on the garment.

Wish Me Luck was founded by Colombian and Puerto Rican designer,  Alex Ordonez, and photographer Sam Dameshek.

Roberto Lugo’s homeware and streetwear line falls on the other end of the color and design spectrum. The ceramic items feature a conglomerate of nature and city inspired motifs such as vines, flowers, money bags, and even dominos.

“For this product line, I wanted to combine imagery from my upbringing in Philly, and my Puerto Rican heritage through a series of patterns and visual elements that represent the culture that’s so important to me,” says Lugo in the Walmart Product reel.

The Wish Me Luck: Dreams of the Motherland collection is available in over 100 stores across the U.S. and online, with prices ranging from $9.98 to $39.98.

Roberto Lugo’s home and apparel line is available in over 800 stores across the U.S. and online with prices ranging from $8.98 to $19.98.
